All business logic processing within Xstore is handled through the operation chain framework. An operation is a single function, written in Java®. A chain is a series of operations. The order of execution of operations is configured through an XML document and is completely flexible. Modifications can be made in the extension layer above the base code which avoids programming costs and allows the modifications to be inherited by future base upgrades.
