one powerhouse brand - the collective expertise and resources of several leaders in cross-channel retailing including Datavantage, eOne Group, CommercialWare, and Red Sky IT.  The evolution to one organization delivering a single, unified solution suite has been accelerated by several factors. These include a rich history of partnering together, a shared vision for cross-channel retailing, complementary technology and capabilities, and a seasoned management team with a long track record of success.


John E. Gularson

Managing Director

John is leading the charge to combine the retail technology brands that comprise MICROS-Retail into a unified, global organization. His goal is to ensure that the company offers comprehensive, best-of-breed solutions that deliver maximum value to our clients. John has received several industry awards for his work in retail. Prior to MICROS-Retail, John served as the COO of Jinfonet Software, where he globally expanded the organization and doubled the company's revenue in less than three years. He has also held sales management positions with Bottomline Technologies, Hyperion, and Tartan Laboratories and has been recognized for his record sales achievements.

 

Chaz Napoli

Chief Operating Officer

With his extensive retail and operations experience, Chaz has primary responsibility for global sales, support, and finance.  Chaz began running operations at Datavantage in 1993 and served as its President from 1997 to 2006. Prior to joining Datavantage, he held various positions with the May Company in buying and merchan-dising, store operations, and corporate information systems. He also consulted for Deloitte & Touche, implementing solutions for major retailers throughout North America.  He holds a B.S in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame.

 

Jane Cannon

Chief Technology Officer

Jane is focused on defining the strategic direction, management, development and delivery of all MICROS-Retail products. As a senior member of the management team, Jane has been leading the Datavantage/CommercialWare/eOne product integration and transformation into an integrated MICROS-Retail suite to serve the global market. Jane comes to this role with over 20 years of software industry experience and in-depth knowledge of the retail sector.  As COO of CommercialWare, Jane was instrumental in building and delivering successful retail customer applications and was instrumental in growing the business to several million dollars. During her tenure at CommercialWare, Jane held positions in professional services, sales, and support, working her way up to executive management roles.

 

Carl Nemec

Vice President - Professional Services

Combining an in-depth understanding of the retail industry with extensive knowledge of technology, Carl leads MICROS-Retail's Services organization, comprised of implementation, consulting, technical support, and education and training. Carl joined Datavantage in 1998, bringing with him 10 years of retail systems implementation experience from information management positions with international and travel retailers.

 

Louise J. Casamento

Vice President of Marketing and Customer Relations

Louise joined MICROS Systems, Inc. in 1999 and has primary responsibility for the corporate MICROS and MICROS-Retail brands around the world. Louise and her team facilitate all aspects of marketing communications including PR, advertising, web, tradeshows, and conferences. Louise has over 11 years experience in Marketing and holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Drew Fyfe

Vice President, MICROS-Retail Asia Pacific
Drew Fyfe has been involved with retail systems since the mid-1970s. He came to Australia in 1982 and was part of a very successful company, Ausdata, specializing in the first PC-based POS hardware platform. Through his connections, Drew introduced MICROS to Australia and New Zealand in 1987. Ausdata became the major distributor, and ten years later sold the distribution rights back to MICROS. Drew became Managing Director of MICROS-Fidelio Australia. With the acquisition by MICROS of leading retail systems providers including Datavantage, CommercialWare and Red Sky IT, Drew welcomed the opportunity to draw on his extensive retail background and has taken on the added responsibility of Vice President, MICROS-Retail Asia Pacific.

Francisco Navajas

Managing Director – Latin America

Francisco joined the company as a Managing Director in 2004 and has played a key role in driving growth and consolidating MICROS-Retail as the leading retail POS and exception-reporting company in the Mexican market.  Prior to joining the MICROS-Retail team, Francisco held numerous positions for NCR Corporation in Europe, the US, and Mexico. Francisco holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He currently resides in Mexico City.

Manfred Kaiser

Vice President Retail – Europe, Africa & Middle East (EAME)

Manfred is responsible for managing and growing MICROS-Retail’s business across EAME. He leads a cross-country team that delivers sales, implementation, consulting, and support services to existing and potential clients. Involved in the IT Industry since the early 90s, he joined the company in 1993 as Managing Director of the Italian MICROS subsidiary, a position he still holds. Prior to joining MICROS, Manfred worked in several functions in the hotel and tourism industry in Italy, Germany, Austria and Thailand. He holds a degree in Economics and Hotel Management, from the Hotel Management school in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
